1. General Provisions

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "User") and Let's Take a Moment ("Company," "we," "us"), founded by Vijayta, based in Mumbai, India.

2. Services Offered

Let's Take a Moment provides mental wellness support and educational services, including but not limited to:

Art-Based Therapy
Individual, Couples, and Child/Teen Counseling
Corporate Wellness Workshops
Soft Skills Training

Important Medical Disclaimer:

Not a Medical Facility: The services provided are for counseling, emotional support, and self-development. We are not psychiatrists or medical doctors. Our services do not substitute for professional medical diagnosis or medication.
Crisis Situations: We do not provide emergency crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, suicidal thoughts, or are in danger of harming yourself or others, please contact a local hospital or a suicide prevention helpline immediately.

3. Appointments, Payments, and Cancellations

Booking & Payment: All sessions must be booked in advance. Payment terms (per session or package) will be communicated at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy: We understand that life happens. However, to respect the therapist's time, we require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
No-Shows: Appointments missed without prior notice or cancelled within less than 24 hours may be charged the full session fee.
Refunds: Fees paid for completed sessions are non-refundable. Packages or workshops may be refunded at our discretion if cancelled well in advance, minus any processing fees.

4. Confidentiality

We adhere to strict ethical standards regarding client confidentiality. Information shared during therapy sessions is confidential, with the following legal exceptions:

Where there is a reasonable suspicion of child abuse or elder abuse.
Where the client presents a serious danger of violence to themselves or another person.
Where disclosure is required by a court of law.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including blog posts, workshop materials, logos, and "Let's Take a Moment" branding—is the intellectual property of Vijayta. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Let's Take a Moment is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Progress in therapy is subjective and depends on the individual’s engagement; therefore, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
